Puzzle #114 - Turning Fences

Turning Fences is a fascinating puzzle style to me. The basic deductions are very limited but when several clues are placed together the number of possible interactions is startling. That much is also true of regular Slitherlink, but, for now at least, the interactions in this variant are much more mysterious to me.

It’s not a type I find very comfortable to solve - I think it’s more satisfying as an author than as a solver - but it is intriguing nonetheless, and an interesting take on loop puzzles.

Rules

Connect some pairs of orthogonally adjacent dots to form a single non-intersecting loop. Clues indicate the number of turns the loop makes on the four surrounding dots.
