I wrote this puzzle while a daily series of Heyawake puzzles was ongoing in the Cracking the Cryptic Discord server, authored by Tyrgannus, as a bonus puzzle for those who had finished the series. It's... quite hard.
Rules
Shade some cells so that no two shaded cells are orthogonally adjacent
and the remaining unshaded cells form one orthogonally-connected area.
Numbered regions must contain the indicated amount of shaded cells. An
unbroken horizontal or vertical line of unshaded cells may not cross
more than one bold border.
