This puzzle was written for an instance of an event in which people were encouraged to submit puzzles in genres which had not yet appeared in any iteration of the event. U-Bahn is an old genre which has often appeared in German competitions. It can be quite intimidating and has a high difficulty ceiling. I learned a lot about it while making this one!
Rules
Draw a totally connected network through the centres of some cells, which may branch or turn, but may not have any dead ends. A clue outside the grid indicates how many times the corresponding line shape (i.e. a cross, branch, straight line, or turn) appears in the corresponding row or column, irrespective of the line shape's rotation.
Difficulty: 7/10
