Puzzle #140 - Classic Sudoku

This is another Classic Sudoku "one-stepper" - a puzzle which, after a single difficult deduction is made, yields to basic techniques. Originally this puzzle was written for a speed-setting event in which we were asked to make "two-steppers", but I find one-steppers are more fun both to write and to solve, so after the event I made some tweaks to eliminate the second difficult step.

Rules

Place a number from 1 to 9 into each empty cell so that every row, column, and bold-outlined region contains every number exactly once.

Difficulty: 8/10
