A version of this puzzle was created for a speed-setting event on the Cracking the Cryptic Discord server, but I had to sacrifice some elements of the theme in order to get the puzzle to resolve uniquely in the time available. The puzzle below is the cleaned-up ideal version of the same idea.

Rules
Place stars into some cells such that each row, column, and outlined region contains exactly 2 stars. Stars cannot occupy two cells that touch along an edge or at a corner.
