This puzzle was created for a speed-setting event on the Cracking the Cryptic Discord server in which we were asked to create a puzzle showcasing any advanced Sudoku technique of our choosing. I could not have asked for a better illustration of the technique I ended up going for.

Rules
Place a number from 1 to 9 into each empty cell so that every row, column and bold-outlined region contains every number exactly once.
