This puzzle diverges from my usual style for odd/even Sudoku puzzles, but I can't tell you how without giving away spoilers for the solution path!
Rules
Place a number from 1 to 9 into each empty cell so that every row, column, and bold-outlined region contains every number exactly once.
A number outside the grid indicates how many even numbers are present on the diagonal line it points at.
