Here is a difficult Kakuro with what I expect is a fairly narrow solving path and some thematic logic throughout the solve. My intention was to make a puzzle with a low density of shaded cells, which I think I managed.

Rules
Place a number from 1 to 9 into each empty cell so that no number is repeated in any unobstructed horizontal or vertical line. Clues indicate the sum of the numbers placed in the horizontal or vertical line to the right of or below the clue, as indicated.
