This puzzle was created after I made the observation that crossword grids would probably work as Akari layouts. Here's my take on the Guardian Cryptic from 10th March 2021.

Rules
Place lights into some cells so that every empty cell is illuminated. Lights illuminate the cell they are in as well as all cells seen in an unobstructed straight line horizontally or vertically. Lights may not illuminate each other. Clues indicate the number of lights in the (up to) four cells surrounding the clue.
