This is the first of two puzzles that I wrote in a hospital waiting room after an incident involving my son's foot and a tin of spaghetti hoops. The second puzzle was scrapped but would later be salvaged.
Rules
Place a number from 1 to 9 into each empty cell so that every row, column, and bold-outlined region contains every number exactly once. Additionally, the numbers on each marked diagonal must sum to the given total.
