Normally I like to make puzzles with symmetric layouts, but I've added Look-Air to a list of puzzle types where I'm happy to break that rule. The number of interesting constellations you can create with a small number of clues is quite staggering and, for this puzzle type in particular, I've found that constraining myself to symmetric layouts, instead of helping the creative process, ends up being a frustrating burden.
I'm very pleased with the delicate logic in this puzzle.
Rules
Shade some cells so that each orthogonally-connected area of shaded cells forms a perfect square. Clues may be shaded, and each clue represents how many cells are shaded from among the clue cell itself and its orthogonal neighbours. Two shaded square areas of the same size must not have an unobstructed run of unshaded cells, horizontally or vertically, anywhere between them.
