This puzzle was created for a community contest on the Cracking the Cryptic YouTube channel. It's pretty difficult. There is a logical solution, but you still may benefit from a more exploratory approach to this one.
Rules
Place a number from 1 to 9 into each empty cell so that every row, column, and bold-outlined region contains every number exactly once. The numbers placed within a cage cannot repeat and must sum to the total in the corner of the cage. The numbers placed on each marked diagonal must sum to the given total.
